A wonderful investment
Learning a new skill can be such a wonderful investment – once learned, you will never forget the skills and may be able to earn the cost of your training many times over. The Luna Plaster Training Academy enables you to produce seamless wall and floor coverings that provide 100% natural clay plaster from a brand focussed on protecting the earth.
An extremely valuable skill
When you train with us, you know that you are training with an experienced trainer who can ensure that you are equipped with an extremely valuable skill. Not only will training with us enable you to work for yourself but you may also be contracted by us, as we know you will have received all the training required to be highly skilled and professional. Microcement is becoming increasingly popular and is now competing with tiling as the most desired surface.
Why train in microcement
Microcement has many benefits, and for many situations, is a better alternative to tiles. Microcement:
Is extremely durable and will not crack unless the substrate shifts, unlike tiles which can crack under impact or pressure.
Is waterproof, and does not have any joints – this makes it ideal for a wetroom or bathroom.
Can be directly applied on an existing hard surface without the need for it to be removed
Blends in with a modern, minimalist design aesthetic
Is available in over 1,000 colours
Comprehensive hands-on training
We can provide comprehensive hands-on training at our facility. Once you have successfully completed the course, you will receive a certificate to prove that you are now an approved Installer. You will also receive a colour fan chart and catalogue so you will be able to see all the colours that are available. The course will include learning about substrates, application of primers, creating special effects and applying sealant. You will learn how to create various finishes on floors, walls and stairs, over a variety of different materials such as tiles, wood and concrete.
